- Payment Fraud: Attempting to circumvent payment systems or platform fees
- Chargeback Abuse: Filing fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes
- False Claims: Making false claims about campaigns, deliverables, or results
- Multiple Accounts: Creating multiple accounts to manipulate the platform or avoid restrictions
- Bid Manipulation: Colluding with other users to manipulate campaign pricing
2.4 Inappropriate Content
You may not create campaigns or submit content that contains:
- Adult Content: Pornography, sexually explicit material, or adult services
- Violence: Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies violence
- Hate Content: Content promoting hatred, discrimination, or violence
- Dangerous Activities: Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or dangerous challenges
- Misinformation: Deliberately false or misleading information, especially related to health, safety, or elections
- Regulated Goods: Illegal drugs, weapons, explosives, or other regulated items (unless properly licensed and compliant)
2.5 Spam and Abuse
- Sending unsolicited messages or spam to other users
- Mass messaging users without their consent
- Posting repetitive or irrelevant content
- Creating fake accounts or engagement
- Manipulating search results or recommendations
- Scraping or harvesting user data
2.6 Technical Abuse

3. Campaign-Specific Requirements
3.1 For Brands
Brands must:
- Create campaigns that comply with advertising standards and regulations
- Provide clear, honest campaign requirements
- Properly specify content usage rights in campaign details
- Not request content that violates laws or platform policies
- Review submissions in a timely manner (within 3 days)
- Provide legitimate feedback for revision requests
- Not discriminate against creators based on protected characteristics
- Honor payment obligations for approved work
- Not misuse creator data or contact information
3.2 For Creators
Creators must:
- Submit only original content or content you have rights to use
- Accurately represent your audience metrics and demographics
- Not use fake followers, bots, or engagement manipulation
- Comply with FTC disclosure requirements for sponsored content
- Clearly disclose brand partnerships in your content
- Meet campaign requirements and deadlines
- Submit genuine work that matches your application/pitch
- Not plagiarize or copy others' content
- Obtain necessary permissions for featured individuals or locations
3.3 FTC Compliance
All sponsored content must comply with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines:
- Clearly disclose material connections with brands
- Use clear language like "#ad" or "#sponsored" prominently in posts
- Make disclosures visible and understandable to your audience
- Don't bury disclosures in hashtags or "Show More" sections
- Ensure disclosures are platform-appropriate and noticeable
4. Restricted Categories
The following categories require special compliance and may be restricted or prohibited:
4.1 Highly Regulated Industries
- Alcohol: Must comply with local laws, age restrictions, and platform policies
- Tobacco/Vaping: Generally prohibited or heavily restricted

- We cannot guarantee all content complies with our policies
- Users are responsible for their own actions and content
- We encourage users to report violations promptly
As stated in our Terms of Service, promote.sh is a platform that connects brands and creators. We are not a party to agreements between users and do our best to prevent problems, but we are not liable for user actions.
